Ink and Toner

Ink and toner represent the ongoing cost of printing, and the wrong choice is far more expensive than it appears. Cartridges that clog the printhead, sublimation inks that produce dull colours, and fountain pen inks that feather on every page are all mistakes our guides help you avoid.

We compare OEM and compatible ink cartridges for all major printer brands including Canon, Epson, HP and Brother, covering high-yield XL cartridges, CISS systems and refill kits with honest cost-per-page analysis. For sublimation printing, we test colour accuracy and consistency across the leading ink brands. For laser users, we cover both branded and compatible toner for the most popular home and office printers.

We also review fountain pen inks from Diamine, Iroshizuku and Waterman, calligraphy inks, India inks for illustration, alcohol inks for fluid art, and stamp inks for card making. Every guide includes real-world results and price-per-millilitre comparisons.
